Privacy Policy
Last updated: [Date]
[Organizer legal business name] ("we", "us") organizes The Legacy Investor Summit. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.
Information we collect
- Contact details you enter in our forms: first and last name, email address, phone number and, for sponsorship inquiries, company and job title.
- Purchase details when you buy a ticket: ticket type, quantity, billing name and address. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never stored by us.

- Usage data, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, device and browser type, and the ad or link that brought you here.
How we use it
- To show you ticket pricing and follow up about the Summit after you request it.
- To process your purchase, send confirmations, and share event logistics.
- To send updates, speaker announcements and offers, if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by replying STOP to a text message.
- To respond to sponsorship and general inquiries.
- To understand and improve the website and our advertising, if you accept analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Summit:
- GoHighLevel (customer relationship management, email and text messaging)
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Google Analytics and Meta (website analytics and advertising measurement, only with your consent)
Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to make the site work (for example, to remember that you have unlocked ticket pricing). Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
How long we keep it
[Retention period, e.g. contact details for 2 years after the Summit; purchase records as required for tax purposes.]
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete your information, subject to legal requirements. Contact our privacy officer below.
